About us

Scouting in Salisbury is thriving and provides a much loved and valued service for the community.

Young people age 6 – 18 in Scouting take part in all the activities you would expect Scouting to offer.  They develop character skills like resilience, initiative and tenacity. Employability skills such as leadership, teamwork and problem solving.  Practical skills like cooking and first aid.

We are currently fund raising to provide us with a camp site of our own.

Ask any Beaver Cub or Scout when they join what they want to do and the answer is invariably camping.

Several years ago we lost the use of a camp site we had near Salisbury as the owners needed it for their commercial purposes which was not compatible with young people being present.

As a result we launched our Camp Site Quest Fund so we could purchase our own site.  We are just over a third of the way towards our goal of £150,000.

If you are able please consider supporting us through this lottery – who knows you may be a winner.

Thankyou
